Join Us For Worship

Sundays:

10:30am: Choral Eucharist – also available for our online congregation.  Click this link for more information: Worship Online

Parents with little ones: We have nursery care for infants and toddlers every Sunday.  Sunday School for older children once per month.  And, we have in our worship space the “Kidzone” – featuring a play pen, rocking chairs, a play mat, crayons, toys, and picture books for little ones.  The joyful noise of children is welcome here!

The eighth lesson is from the second chapter of the Gospel of Matthew. it describes the events after the birth of Jesus, including King Herod''s attempt to kill the infant messiah.

The third lesson is from the Book of Isaiah. The 9th chapter contains the oratorio cited in Handel's "Messiah"

The final lesson is from the Gospel of John. The Gospel of John more mystical than the other Gospels.

Today’s Canticle is from Luke chapter 1. This section has Mary expressing her praise to God after visiting her cousin Elizabeth, who is pregnant as well.

Today's processional hymn is "Come thou long expected Jesus" by the prolific hymn writer Charles Wesley. Wesley and his brother have over 1,000 hymns attributed to them alone.

Today's Gospel is also a continuation of the Canticle from Luke chapter 1.
