On Maundy Thursday, March 28th, at 7:30pm, we will gather to remember the last supper Jesus had with his friends, and his new commandment (from which the name Maundy comes – the Latin mandatum) to love one another as He loved us. Those who wish will be invited to wash another’s feet modeling what Jesus did for his disciples on that night. We will hear those painful moments in Gethsemane and strip the altar bare to the wood. We will have the chance to sit with Jesus in the darkened church, walk the labyrinth, or in any other way stay present with him in this darkest hour for as long as you feel called.
