What an amazing evening it was – beautiful music and a beautiful setting.  The choir really was magnificent, and we were graced with the presence of our bishop, The Rt. Rev. Mark Beckwith, and his wife Marilyn, who attended, along with a packed house of others who came to experience this traditional Advent service.  The evening begins in darkness, with only the glow of candles providing light, as the choir begins to sing, and continues with prayers, readings from scripture, and more music.  Afterward was a festive reception.
