This fun and informative Lenten devotion continues at Christ Church. We are now into the second round – the Saintly Sixteen after Charles Wesley soundly defeated his older brother John, forever standing up for younger siblings everywhere!  On the left is a fabulous photo of last year’s champion, Frances Perkins, there with her coveted golden halo.  Who will win it this year???
Lent Madness features a March Madness (basketball) bracket of 32 saints of the Church. Each day, two saints are paired in an elimination style tournament, with on-line voting to determine the winner for that week. For each matchup, information about the two saints are posted and celebrity bloggers write about them too. The ultimate winning saint receives the “golden halo” and fame beyond measure.
