The 79th General Convention of The Episcopal Church is in full swing!

Bishop Mark Beckwith and elected lay and clergy deputies, including Mtr. Diana, will represent the Diocese of Newark at the 79th triennial General Convention of The Episcopal Church July 5-13 in Austin, TX.

Attending from diocesan staff are Canon Greg Jacobs, an elected deputy and co-chair of the deputation; the Rev. Sheelagh Clarke, Interim Coordinator for Youth & Young Adult Ministries, who will lead a group of youth and chaperones attending July 8-13; and Nina Nicholson, Director of Communications, who will support the Newark contingent’s communication efforts.
