Join us on Sunday, June 18th, when our guest preacher will be Tom Reynolds.  Tom is a Warden of our parish, our Sunday livestream host. Below is information about Tom.  Come and listen to his story.

EDUCATION: Studied architecture at the NJ School of Architecture located at NJIT and continuing at the Academy of Arts University in pursuit of the Masters of Architecture degree. 

WORK: Tom began his professional career at New Jersey-based Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (currently Veris Residential), a major commercial real estate development company where he managed architectural work for Cali’s North Jersey, Southern New York, and Eastern Pennsylvania portfolio. While at Mack-Cali Tom became proficient in space planning, commercial renovations, and design. After working within the real estate arena for several years, Tom entered the architectural design field taking on freelance projects primarily in central NJ. Currently, Tom works with Blackberry Studios where he focuses on developing the firm’s continued engagement with leading-edge architectural design & visualization tools, data harvesting, and construction management technologies, including but not limited to LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), advanced BIM technology interfaces; building model energy simulations and natural sunlight studies, which aid clients with engineering equipment selections and projecting heating/cooling/electrical operational costs as well as drone photogrammetry, which captures highly accurate existing site conditions and construction progression. 

SERVICE: Tom is an active member of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA). He also served on the Zoning Board of Adjustment for the Township of Montclair, NJ. Tom is a member of the Development Committee for HOMECorp (Homes of Montclair Ecumenical Corp.) a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing options. Tom is a past president of the Montclair, NJ branch of the NAACP, he serves with the Boy Scouts of America as a peer advisor and mentor.
