Sunday, May 10th, we welcome all mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers (well, you get the picture). And we honor all of them, and also all women who give of themselves to children – aunts, cousins, guardians, foster parents, and so many more. Julian of Norwich, whose Saint day was just this past week (May 8) once famously said, “Just as God is our Father, so God is also our Mother.”  And [Christ] showed me this truth in all things, but especially in those sweet words when He says: “It is I”. As if to say, I am the power and the Goodness of the Father, I am the Wisdom of the Mother, I am the Light and the Grace which is blessed love (…)” Happy Mother’s Day to you all!
