On Good Friday, April 3, 2026, an ecumenical group of clergy and parishioners from churches in the Montclair/Glen Ridge/Bloomfield New Jersey area will engage in a solemn pilgrimage to Delaney Hall a Federal detention facility in Newark.  The pilgrims will begin at First Congregational Church in Montclair at 8am, stopping at Christ Episcopal Church first, and continuing from there, with a final stop at St. Stephens before arriving at Delaney Hall by 3pm, where a short service of prayer will be offered.  You can choose to do any part or all of the journey.

The purpose is to draw attention to the suffering and vulnerable on this most holy day of the Christian calendar.  Those who wish to participate can join in the pilgrimage may do so at any point along the way.
