Thank you to everyone who collected or donated groceries for our food drive. We have collected 10 grocery carts’ worth of food and almost $200 in cash donations.
We will continue to collect groceries through Sunday, August 18. After the 10:30 a.m. service, we will begin bagging/boxing the donated food for transport to the food pantry at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Verona. Please lend a hand if you can.
Here are the most needed items:
- mayonnaise and ketchup
- paper towels
- toilet paper
- cleaning products (dish detergent, toilet bowl cleaner, cleanser, window cleaner, etc.)
- personal hygiene items (toothpaste, bar soap, deodorant, shampoo, shaving cream, etc.)
- peanut butter
- detergent (no bulk sizes)
- cereal
- canned fruit
- dog and cat food or treats
- juice boxes
- crackers and cookies
- tea (small boxes)
- baking items (cake and brownie mixes, sugar, flour, etc.)
- corn, canned peas, carrots, beets, spinach, mixed vegetables
