There are two events happening on Sunday, February 19th, in support of our Muslim brothers and sisters. The first is sponsored by St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Clifton and the second is by I AM A Muslim Too! and will be in NYC. Information on both is below. Please consider living out your baptismal covenant to “respect the dignity of every human being” by standing up and being counted at one of these marches.
In response to the concerns expressed by members of the Clifton Community, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church will sponsor a March and Prayer Service on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 1 PM.
The March will begin at 1 PM at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 380 Clifton Avenue, Clifton, NJ and proceed down Clifton Avenue to Main Avenue and conclude at the Veterans’ Memorial Monument on Main Avenue.
We invite people from Clifton and others interested in supporting Immigrants, Refugees and Muslims to join us in prayer and solidarity with Immigrants, Refugees and Muslims who are experiencing concern for their safety and well-being.
